Our dojo is run by Head Instructor/Owner and 5th Dan Black Belt Master Eric Alders, who founded a unique martial arts system called Yuugou-Ryu (Fusion System).  Our elite curriculum combines Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, Hapkido, Aikido, Goju-Ryu, Japanese Jiu Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which provides a complete fusion of martial arts from the ground up!

	Eric Alders received an induction for “Martial Artist of the Year” and The Karate Dojo was inducted for “School of the Year.”

New XXL bags at The Karate Dojo
	The Karate Dojo has recently updated their heavy bags and have stepped it up to the next level.  We are always looking to bring our students the best training tools available.  We now have 10, 6’, 100lb, leather bound, Muay Thai heavy bags that have been installed to an elaborate winch and pulley system.  The bags are over 7’ off the dojo mat and are operated by switches on the dojo wall that allows one row or both rows of bags to be lowered to any height that we wish.  The beams, cables and system installed supports well over 10,000 lbs and it is only holding 1000, which makes it completely safe and fun to use in all of our classes.
Recent promotions
	Master Eric Alders is now a 5th Dan, Jennifer Fischbach is now a 3rd Dan, and Sensei Andrew Connito is a 2nd Dan. Congratulations to the instructors at The Karate Dojo on their recent belt promotions!
American Top Team - Level 2 Certification
	The Karate Dojo to receive Level 2 Certification from American Top Team this month.  Master Eric Alders, Sensei Andrew Connito and Mr. Dan Chandler will be traveling to Coconut Creek, FL this month for their next level of intensive training and certification from American Top Team.  They will be instructor by Owner & Head Coach Master Ricardo Liborio as well as their professional staff of MMA Fighters, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Boxing and BJJ coaches.  Level 2 classes will be added to the schedule shortly and pictures will be posted after the certification is complete.
Graduation and Stripe Testing Week
	Graduation Saturday, February 27 @ 11:00am at Christa McAuliffe Middle School. 3)  February Stripe testing Feb 22nd – Feb 26th 4) March Stripe testing March 29th – April 2nd.
